Spells For The Common Witch #20: Bubble Head Charm
Do you ever finish getting ready in the morning only to look outside and see it is pouring? Of course it would be raining during the first weekend trip to Hogsmeade. How will you walk across the grounds and through the streets of the glorious wizarding town without ruining your hair? The solution is a very simple spell. The Bubble Head Charm is more effective than any umbrella because it protects against humidity too! Cast the charm before you step out the door and you’ll easily avoid frizzly hair all day.
WHoopps. Posted it to the wrong blog. Silly me.
Spells For The Common Witch #18: Brackium Emendo
Dearest young (and not so young) witches, please, please, please, PLEASE do not attempt to use this spell. Yes, I understand that Gilderoy Lockhart may make you swoon with his sweepy hair and smile, the five-time winner of Witch Weekly’s Most Charming Smile Award. I regret to inform you that despite his status as a Ravenclaw alumnus and his gorgeous smile, he is an absolute blockhead. The Latin roots are quite confused and he may have made up this spell completely. Don’t worry, you can still be in love with him, just… don’t follow his footsteps in terms of magical escapades… please…

YAY! I need to post again… I will! I will post tonight. I am publishing this and that means I MUST post after work today.
Spells For The Common Witch #18: Bombarda
Some wizards never learn. Even after you have already lightening his face to dust and then you had to sweep him up and bring him to Madame Pomfrey and be ever so grateful that she graciously doesn’t ask questions, he is still making fun of you and being annoying. Well… you don’t want to use the same spell twice because he may have already found a counter-spell. Instead bombarda him! The explosion should be very effective.
Spells For The Common Witch #17: Baubillious
Have you ever wanted to smite someone? When a wizard continuously makes jokes about you and other witches, put him in his place! With baubillious you can call down a bolt of lightening to take care of the obnoxious fellow. With this spell you will never have to deal with his arrogance and insensitivity again.
Spells For The Common Witch #16: Avis
This spell is in fact very similar to Avifors. The only difference is that Avifors turns objects into birds while Avis simply shoots birds out of the wand. So, you want to be a famous witch? Go out. Make little doves appear. Muggles like birds… Muggles are weird…
PS If you are Hermionie Ganger you can use this spell to attack your future boyfriend when you’re angry at him

First Anon Message? YES.
I don’t really like it either… I’ll look into it. Any suggestions anon?
And thanks! ^.^
EDIT: I changed it. At least temporarily. It’s kinda boring but it kinda goes along with the stick figures and mainly black and white. Thoughts?
Spells For The Common Witch #15: Avifors
Every witch wants to be famous. But how to do that? Put on a magic show! Now, you’re all thinking, “if I put on a magic show, doesn’t that go against that whole secrecy thing?” The answer is… maybe… but loopholes! If you don’t actually reveal yourself, you are allowed to perform magic in front of muggles. Remember the witch who enjoyed being burned at the stake by performing a flame freezing charm? And there you have it. It’s perfectly legal. So go up on stage, mutter avifors under your breath and turn that hat into birds. It’s like magic!
Spells For The Common Witch #14: Avada Kedavra
The only good use for this spell is for scaring your fellow witches and wizards. Muggles of course will find no fear from this most evil curse because they are either uninformed or simply do not believe magic is real even after reading a most detailed account of the fall of the Great and Evil Lord Voldemort. Of course, avada kedavra is unforgivable. Murder is bad. (Well… most of the time) Use the begining of this incantation to give friends a terrible fright. But be warned, many might think they are in real danger and fight back before they realize who you are. Pretend to use at your own risk.
